Senior Resident - 6 Posts

Qualification Details:

Applications in the prescribed proforma are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of vacant posts of Super Specialists, Specialists and Senior Residents (3 year) on contract basis in ESIC Model & Super Speciality Hospital, Asramam, Kollam.

1. Post Name: Senior Residents (3 year Contract)

2. No. of Vacancy: 6. (3 year contract - renewable yearly basis based on performance)

3. Department:

i. Orthopedics
ii. Anesthesia
iii. Radiology
iv. General Surgery
v. Ophthalmology

4. Qualification: PG degree/diploma, in concerned speciality from recognized University and registered with Medical Council.

5. Duties/Remuneration: To work as per ESIC norms for Senior Residency. Remuneration will be paid as per orders issued by ESIC Headquarters Office from time to time. (Level 11 as per VIIth CPC. Total emoluments approximately Rs.1,10,000/-)

Age:
Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of interview. Relaxation for reserved as per rules.

Application Fee:
Application Fee (For All Posts) – Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) for General & OBC Candidates and Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) for SC/ST candidates by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ESI Saving Fund Account No.2 payable at Kollam. PWD/Female applicants are exempted from Application Fee.

Documents Required:
Original & Xerox copies of following documents, as applicable: -

1. MBBS Degree Certificate.

2. MCI Registration Certificate.

3. Matriculation certificate in support of Date of Birth.

4. PG Degree/Diploma Certificate (Qualification prescribed for the post).

5. Experience Certificate.

6. Caste Certificate, if applicable.

7. LPC/No Due Certificate from previous employer, if applicable.

8. Any other relevant document.

Instructions to Candidates:
1. Application Fee (For All Posts) – Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) for General & OBC Candidates and Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) for SC/ST candidates by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ESI Saving Fund Account No.2 payable at Kollam. 

2. PWD/Female applicants are exempted from Application Fee. 

3. Those who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC category should produce valid caste certificate issued by the Tahasildar / Revenue Divisional Officer. OBC certificate should be in the prescribed form as per Government of India instructions which should certify that the candidates do not belong to anyone of the Creamy layers. 

4. Interested candidates may appear for walk-in interview on 20.05.2020 at ESIC Model and Super Speciality Hospital, Asramam, Kollam along with application in the prescribed proforma, all original documents including caste certificate, one set of Xerox copies of all original documents, two recent passport size photographs (one affixed on the application) and the requisite application fee. 

5. The candidates must bring the original documents for verification at 9.00 AM sharp on the date of the interview. 

6. Candidates who have already worked as Senior Resident for 3 years in any Central Institutions are not eligible for the post of Senior Resident. 

7. Private practice of any kind will not be allowed. 

8. No TA/DA will be admissible for “Walk-in-Interview”. 

9. Vacancies indicated above may change as per actual requirement on the date of interview.
